Eugene Lipinski was born in Cambridgeshire, England and raised in Regina, Saskatchewan. He began acting at the age of 12 in amateur theater. After graduating from the University of Regina, he returned to the UK and attended the Royal Academy of Arts, as well as the Drama Studio London. A highy respected actor, he was nominated for the 1990 Gemini Award for Best Performance by a Supporting Actor for Love and Hate. He won the 1991 Genie Award for Best Original Screenplay, which he shared with Paul Quarrington for the movie, Perfectly Normal. He is pictured in a CBC publicity still in the role of Al Crenshaw on the series, The Romeo Section.
