Eugene Levy was vice-president of the McMaster Film Board (MFB) at McMaster University in his hometown of Hamilton, Ontario. Being a member had its privileges and then some. Ivan Reitman, who would go on to direct films like Stripes, Ghostbusters and Six Days Seven Nights, was the president of the MFB and, as luck would have it, cast Eugene in Cannibal Girls in 1973. He was given a 2020 Emmy for his work on Schitt’s Creek.
