Emmanuelle Sophie Anne Chriqui was born to Moroccan Jewish immigrants and was raised in Jewish Orthodox traditions. Just before she turned two, her family moved to Toronto and she grew up in Unionville. She took acting classes and started acting at age 7, working at first in commercials. After high school, she decided to pursue a full-time acting career and moved to Vancouver when she was in her early 20s. She began to get her first guest appearances in series television which led to work in movies. Best known for playing Sloan McQuewick on Entourage, Chriqui now makes her home in Los Angeles. She plays the role of Dr. Lila Kyle in the 2019 series Passage.
