Douglas Walton began life as J. Douglas Dunder and began his acting career on the stages of New York City and Chicago. His career included appearances in such popular films as The Count of Monte Cristo, Bride of Frankenstein, Mutiny on the Bounty and Green Dolphin Street. Douglas Walton retired when he was 40 and died of a heart attack when he was just 51-years-old.
