Doris Petrie

Doris Petrie was given one of the first Canadian Film Awards – first called an Etrog, then called a Genie – for her role as Best Supporting Actress in 1972’s Wedding in White. She also won a Dora Award for Best Actress in 1985 for the stage production of Night, Mother, which also starred Nancy Beatty.
