Diane D’Aquila

A graduate of the National Theatre School in 1972, Diane D’Aquila began a long association with the Stratford Festival the following year. The 2003 TV movie, Elizabeth Rex was based on the Timothy Findlay play first launched at Stratford in 2000 where it was directed by Martha Henry. At Toronto’s Soulpepper she has appeared in Jitters, Blood Wedding, Leaving Home, Of the Fields, Lately and Happy Place. She is the recipient of Gemini and Actra Awards, the Jefferson Award and an Emery Battis Award.
