Clara Furey is a graduate of the Ateliers de danse moderne de Montréal. She also studied classical piano at the Conservatoire Municipal de Paris, as well as completing studies in music theory, harmony and analysis. She was the star, singer-songwriter and ‘pianowoman’ of a show she gave at the Cabaret du Saint-Sulpice in Montreal. She made her acting debut in the 2004 film CQ2/Tout près du sol, directed by her mother, Carole Laure. If asked, Clara Furey will tell you that she is first and foremost a dancer and then a singer-songwriter.
