Catherine Disher was born in England but grew up in Montreal. Best known for her role as Martha Tinsdale in 76 episodes of the Good Witch series and 7 made-for-TV movies, she won two Gemini Awards in 2005 and 2010 for Best Actress for her role in the mini-series Snakes and Ladders and then for her work in The Border. She is pictured as Maggie Norton in a publicity still from the CBC series, The Border. She was nominated for her role in the TV series, Forever Knight. A graduate of the National Theatre School of Canada, she starred in the second season of the War of the Worlds series. When she isn’t in front of the cameras, her voice is often in demand for both animated series, and video games.
