Born in California, Camille Mitchell grew up in Vancouver. She is best known for playing Sheriff Nancy Adams in 23 episodes of the TV series, Smallville between 2003 and 2008. When not in front of the camera, Mitchell can often be found on stage. One such appearance was the 2002 Vancouver production of Shakespeare’s As You Like It in which she played Rosalind opposite Ron Halder. Both Camille and her sister Canning are children of the American actor, Cameron Mitchell. She made her directorial debut in 2012 with the short film A Mother’s Love, which she also wrote. She then wrote and directed By the Fountain in 2016
