Bruno Gerussi

Bruno Gerussi grew up in Exshaw, Alberta and later moved with his family to New Westminster B.C. A scholarship to the Banff School of Fine Arts led to his acting career and in 1954 he joined the Stratford Festival in its 2nd season. He acted in Canada and the United States before moving into film. Later he joined CBC radio and his show, titled Gerussi, ran from 1967 to 1971. One year later he made his television series debut in the long running series The Beachcombers in which he played Nick Adonidas. Bruno Gerussi died of a heart attack.
