Bruce McCulloch

Bruce McCulloch, pictured above on the left as Lloyd McKay in a publicity still for the TV series Young Drunk Punk, which was created by McCulloch. He is usually thought of in the same breath as The Kids In The Hall, but his trek to stardom began long before that. After graduating high school, McCulloch enrolled in Calgary’s Mount Royal College where he studied journalism and public relations. More importantly, he started taking classes with TheatreSports and the Loose Moose Theatre Company, where he met up with Mark McKinney. They formed a comedy troupe called The Audience, with two other actors. Later McKinney and McCulloch moved to Toronto and eventually joined with Kevin McDonald, Dave Foley and Scott Thompson to form The Kids in the Hall.
