Beth Morris originated the role of Maggie Muggins on the popular CBC television series when she was twelve years old. For the 1956 season, Beth Morris was replaced by Deanne Taylor who played the part until she outgrew it. Deanne Taylor was replaced by 8-year-old Mary Long who played Maggie Muggins from 1959 until the series ended in 1962. Beth Morris appeared in a number of television dramas as well as playing the role of Ginny Malone in 18 episodes of Cannonball between 1958 and 1959.
