Alex Godbout graduated from the Cégep Theatre School in Saint-Hyacinthe, Québec. In addition to his training in performance, he honed his talent with a commedia dell’arte workshop with Alberto Ferraro in Grenoble, France. In 2014, he participated in the Rencontres Festival of Young European Theatre in Grenoble and at the St-Ambroise Fringe Festival in Montréal in 2015.
