Aisha Alfa’s father is a black Nigerian, and her mother a white Canadian from a small farming town in rural Manitoba. She was born in Nigeria and grew up in Winnipeg, Manitoba. She is the previous winner of Winnipeg’s Funniest Person with a Day Job and has performed at the Winnipeg Comedy Festival. She was a finalist in 2013’s Toronto Comedy Brawl. She played the role of Ms. Grell in Degrassi: The Next Generation and in Degrassi: Next Class
