Aidan Devine was born in England and came to Canada with his family when he was 15. He went to theatre school and first worked as an an actor in Montreal theatre then moved to Toronto in the mid 1990s. He won a Gemini Award for best actor for his performance in the TV movie Net Worth, and another Gemini for best supporting actor in the mini-series The Arrow. He is pictured in February 2020 just before the live read of a pilot for a series set in Nova Scotia. Other actors taking part included Peter Outerbridge and Camille Stopps, who had previously worked with Aidan Devine on the 2018 feature 22 Chaser.
