Ta’Kaiya Blaney is a singer-songwriter-actor and active environmentalist from the Tla’Amin First Nation and grew up along the shores of the Salish Sea in British Columbia. She has spoken at United Nations conferences, environmental events, and classrooms across Canada and internationally. She is pictured above as Ella in Zoe Hopkins’ Kayak to Klemtu.
