Born in England, Elizabeth Saunders grew up in Calgary and now makes her home in Toronto. A theatre director, teacher, writer and actor, among her achievements is a nomination for Outstanding Supporting Performance in a Play for her nuanced take on Puck in the Chekhov Collective’s production of Midsummer Nights Dream. She began her career on stage in high school in a production of Fiddler on the Roof and her long list of television and film credits is testament to her staying power in an industry that can often discard its players in favour of the next new thing.
