(May 5, 2016 – Toronto, ON) There are several things that would scare the bejesus out of anyone. A serious medical diagnosis and going to jail have to be at the very top of any list. When a lawyer friend of Windsor-born director Matt Gallagher was sent to prison it struck him as a great topic for a film. After all, how does anyone prepare for prison?
His 90-minute documentary has already had two of its three screenings at Hot Docs. The final screening will take place this Sunday, May 8 at 3:30PM at the Isabel Bader Theatre on the University of Toronto campus.
Matt Gallagher sat down with Northernstars publisher Ralph Lucas to talk about his film, How To Prepare for Prison.
