Bryan Adams is not so much a film composer in the traditional sense, but a pop music singer-songwriter who either contributes songs to movies or has his songs licensed for use in movies. In 1990 he was made a Member of the Order of Canada and the Order of British Columbia. In 1998 he was promoted to an Officer of the Order of Canada.
