Wendel Meldrum

Wendy Anne Meldrum excelled in gymnastics and dance and began to hone her unique creative talents while still in grade school in Edmonton. She left her hometown to fulfill a dream of dancing professionally, landing first in Toronto and then in New York. After a handful of years living in Greenwich Village, she moved to Los Angeles. Just one of her highlights in Hollywood was appearing as the “low-talker” on two episodes of Seinfeld, as well as several seasons on the Canadian series Less Than Kind where she won a Canadian Screen Award (2013) and two Canadian Comedy Awards (2009) for her role of Anne Blecher. She wrote the screenplay for Cruel but Necessary which premiered at the Montreal Film Festival in 2005.
