Ashleigh Rains is a Toronto based actress and producer. Her work includes short films, music videos, commercials, digital series that have screened at international film festivals and selected to screen by Telefilm’s Not Short on Talent at Cannes, Claremont-Ferrand, and SXSW. She has received multiple nominations and awards including winning WIFT’s Best of Showcase. She professionally trained at the world-renowned National Ballet School for 8 years then studied Drama at Queen’s University (BAH) and the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in London, UK. She co-founded We’ll Be Over Here Productions with writer-director Geordie Sabbagh. Canadian Strain is her first feature film as a Producer. We list her credits as an actress first.
