Born Rory Corrigan, Hawksley Workman grew up in the Muskokas and went to Almaguin Highlands Secondary School and later Huntsville High School. He moved to Toronto to pursue a career in music. In addition to music videos, he occasionally takes a small acting role. Both Score: A Hockey Musical and Still Mine were directed by Michael McGowan. He wrote the theme music for the series 18 to Life and Republic of Doyle.
