Libby Morris

Libby Morris is a comedienne-actor-singer who got her start in Canadian radio and the early days of CBC television before moving to England in June of 1955. In England she appeared on stage, television and film. She also had a minor hit record in the 1960s with something titled Mr. Liberace Smiled at Me. Three bits for Trivia fans: She was dropped from the CBC-TV show Holiday Ranch for fear her name would cause people to think of the rival canned-goods manufacturer instead of the program`s sponsor, Alymer. And, on the cult classic Space Patrol, Libby Morris provided the voices for Marla, Cassiopeia, and Gabberdictum. Finally, The Rose Tattoo was a television remake of the film and Morris costarred with Donald Sutherland in a production that was directed by Paul Almond.
