Holly Lewis – who was actually born in Scarborough, a city that was absorbed into Toronto – began her acting career in the theatre. She has performed at CanStage, Soulpepper and at the Tarragon in Toronto in addition to appearances at the National Arts Centre in Ottawa and a performance at the Sarajevo International Arts Festival in Bosnia. Her performance as Claire, the disgruntled intern, on the International Emmy Nominated series The Newsroom marked her the leap to film and television. Although her career keeps her busy in film and television, Holly continues to work in theatre where her love of acting was first born.
