Nicole LeBlanc

Nicole LeBlanc was a character actor most often seen on stage. She was a teacher in Gaspé before going to Montreal to study at the National Theatre School. In theatre, she popularized the character of Olivine Dubuc from author Michel Tremblay’s “Belles-sœurs” at the Théâtre du Rideau Vert in 1968. Other plays included “Bonjour, là, bonjour” at the Théâtre du Nouveau Monde in 1987 and “À toi pour toujours, ta Marie-Lou” in 1984. In 1986, she won the MétroStar for actress of the year for her performance in Le temps d’une paix and in 1996 won the Prix Gémeaux for best actress in the series, L’Amour avec un capital A written Janette Bertrand.
