Tatiana Gabriele Maslany is best known for playing the multiple roles of Sarah Manning, Elizabeth Childs, Alison Hendrix, Katja Obinger and Cosima in the Canadian series, Orphan Black. She was named one of the actors in the TIFF 2012 Rising Stars program, which highlights four young Canadian actors on the brink of international stardom. One year later, in December of 2013, Tatiana Maslany was nominated for an Emmy Away and a Golden Globe Award for her work in Orphan Black. She won two 2017 Canadian Screen Awards, one for her work in that series, the other for her costarring role in the feature film The Other Half. She had previously won a Best Actress Canadian Screen Award for Orphan Black in 2014. That year she also picked up her second consecutive trophy for best actress in a drama at the Critics’ Choice Television Awards in Beverly Hills, California. In July of 2015 it was announced that she had been nominated for an Emmy in the best TV actress in a drama category for her work in Orphan Black and she won the coveted award in 2016. In July 2018 she received another Emmy nomination for best actress for her work on Orphan Black. The news came on the same day she would be on stage playing the tile role of Mary Page Marlowe at its New York premiere at the Second Stage Theater. Maslany stars in the title role of Jennifer Walters / She-Hulk in the Marvel Studios/Disney+ comedy-action series She-Hulk: Attorney at Law. The nine-episode series premiered August 17, 2022.
