Tanya Allen

Tanya Allen started thinking about a career in acting when she was just a child and in her teens was given the chance to spend two summers at the prestigious American Academy of Dramatic Arts in New York City. She became addicted to performing. Fans of the quirky series, The Newsroom will recognize her for her role as Audrey, the intern with attitude. After a series of small roles, her first break came when she was cast in the title role of Lyddie in the 1996 made-for-TV drama about Lyddie Worthen, an 1860s teenager who leaves her family`s debt-ridden farm in eastern Ontario to work in a cotton mill. Allen is best known for her role as Percy Montana in the series Starhunter.
