Marie Deschamps has decided, at age 20, to put her formal education on hold and strike out for points west. She is hoping to learn English not from a book but from people she will meet along the way and at her ultimate destination, Whistler, British Columbia. The distance is a full continent and light years away from her life at home. Along the way she will meet other young “lost souls” like herself but she hopes like them that the adventure she is on will result in a new look at life.

Director and actor Dany Papineau produced a 20-minute short, also titled 2 Frogs dans l’ouest in 2004.
