Matthew Klinck was a producer and film-maker living in Belize trying to develop the film and acting industry in the country. Klinck had worked with clients like Sony, ABC and CBS to name a few. In 2012, his company, Make-Belize Films produced its first made-in-Belize feature film Curse of the Xtabai. He also worked on the Belize-produced telenovela La Isla Bonita, filmed on-site in San Pedro.
