Corey Stanton began making movies at an early age using action figures his fathers camcorder and the voices of his parents and siblings Through childhood and adolescence he became a selftaught editor eventually managing a successful YouTube channel and winning Best Youth Documentary at the inaugural York Region Film Festival Stanton then shifted to a career in healthcare earning his Bachelor of Science from York University and his Doctorate in Medicine MD after graduating medical school at the University of Ottawa Despite a love for patient care and pediatrics Stantoncould no longer deny his lifelong dream of filmmaking and he opted not to continue his path as a medical doctor He now actively pursues his passions for writing directing and producing His awardwinning 2018 film emRobberyem is his first featurelength film Ww list his credits as a Director firstbrbrbr
